Joseph F. Blum, CLU, TEP is a frequent contributor to educational symposia dealing with the legal and tax implications of advanced life insurance concepts.
Joe has presented to the Mass Society of CPA's, under the sponsorship of their Educational Foundation. His presentation "Income, Gift and Estate Taxation of Business Life Insurance Arrangements" is always well received.
He has also presented to individual groups of CPA's and attorneys, a presentation designed to enhance the practitioners understanding of "Where the Numbers Come From on Life Insurance Sales Illustrations".
Mr. Blum is the Founder and Past Chairman Emeritas Board of Advisors, Northeastern University Center for Family Business.
He is also the Founder and Chairman of the New England branch of STEP (”Society for Trust and Estate Practitioners”) which is a London-based international planning organization.

In addition, Joe has acted as a consultant to the Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company Family Business Initiative, a five year $7.5 million program, the focus of which was the establishment of university based family business centers. This initiative, has been successful in establishing 100+ such centers at major universities across the United States.
In his professional life, Joe has been a life insurance agent and broker for 45 years. His area of specialty is the funding of Estate and Succession plans.
Joe is a 39 time consecutive qualifier for the Million Dollar Round Table and is also counted among that organization’s elite Top of the Table group.
